I need to go to a sleep study clinic. Something is seriously wrong with me. I went to bed at 11 p.m. last night, with my alarm set for 6:30 a.m. this morning to give me plenty of time to hit snooze (at least 30 mins) and still make it to work by 8 a.m. Well, guess when I woke up? 11:37! No joke. I woke up to the sound of my phone buzzing next to me, it was my boss calling, wondering where I was. I had already missed an earlier phone call as well as two text messages.

I slept until 11:30 a.m. on Saturday and 10:30 a.m. yesterday. And both nights I went to bed around midnight, if not earlier, so it’s not like I was up super late either. Pretty sure that 11 hours of sleep should be enough, right?!

I think I’m going to call my doctor today and see if she can refer me to a sleep clinic. It’s getting to the point of driving me crazy, and the last thing I want is to lose my job because I can’t wake up on time.

    You should see that sleep doctor, they have a clinic in SLP. That doesn’t sound right – my wife does that but she spends have her days working overnight and half her days with a regular person schedule.
